David Plata is a Mexican executive with a degree in Mathematics from UNAM and two master's degrees, in Logistics and Finance, additionally he has more than 16 years of experience in logistics and supply chain in the automotive and railway industries like Ferromex, Stellantis and Nissan, consolidating his position as a leader in logistics innovation and efficiency in Mexico and Latin America. He is currently the HOD of Finished Vehicles for Hyundai Glovis Mexico. His main achievements include leading the first interoceanic crossing of the 21st century between Salina Cruz and Coatzacoalcos, connecting Asia with the East Coast of the United States; the development of vehicle distribution centers in the ports of Lazaro Cardenas, Mazatlan, Veracruz, and Altamira; the design of the logistics network for the Kia Pesqueria plant for finished vehicles; the launch of the Monterrey–Altamira–Monterrey intermodal train; Nissan vehicles ordering center digital transformation for Mexico and Latin America; and participation in railway, port, distribution projects, customs strategy with bonded distributions centers for the automotive and intermodal sectors, among others.
