David Resetar has over 30 years of Commercial, Supply Chain and Manufacturing experience in the automotive industry. He is responsible for DSV’s global automotive development and performance across all modes, having previously led DB Schenker’s global automotive vertical and strategy development for EV, Battery logistics, technology, and emerging markets. Prior to joining DB Schenker, Dave served 18 years in various automotive leadership manufacturing and supply chain positions at director level for OEM and tier one suppliers such as Ford, Visteon, and Collins & Aikman. More recently, Dave has served the past 12 years in the freight Forwarding industry focusing on automotive global commercial development. 

Dave is a licensed attorney who holds a Juris Doctorate (JD) in International Law, MBA in Operations Management, and a bachelor’s degree in supply chain from Michigan State University. 

Dave lives in the metro Detroit Michigan area with his wife and four children.
