Franz Winter is responsible for BMW Group's supply chain operations in Mexico and the northbound supply chain to the BMW Manufacturing USA, overseeing logistic supplier industrialization, transportation management, container management, and material control. In his current role, he focuses on strengthening supply chain resilience, ensuring material availability, and advancing logistics performance across a complex global network.

With more than 20 years of international automotive experience across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, Franz has held senior leadership positions in manufacturing, production, logistics, and supply chain management. He has led major operational and organizational transformations, driving efficiency, resilience, and sustainable growth across global manufacturing and logistics networks. Prior to his current assignment, Franz held leadership roles within BMW Group in Europe and Asia, including Head of Container Management Europe, Director of Logistics and Director of Production at BMW Manufacturing Thailand.
