Sergio Gutierrez is Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Glovis America, overseeing four critical pillars of the company’s Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) business: logistics operations, business development, facility and transport capacity planning, and network growth and reworking.   

Additionally, Mr. Gutierrez leads the strategic execution of Glovis America’s FVL operations, focusing on driving efficiency, scalability, and service excellence across the logistics network. Under his leadership, the organisation supports key global OEMs while also expanding its third-party business and diversifying its OEM customer base and business services. Additionally, he’s instrumental in the development of the innovation roadmap applied to supply chain management (SCM), from operations enhancement to digitalisation and automation.   

With over 25 years of experience in global automotive logistics and supply chain management, Gutierrez brings a comprehensive background that spans multimodal transport, asset- and non-asset-based logistics, ports, and inland processing centres, as well as operational leadership across North America and Europe. His expertise bridges OEM expectations, logistics execution, and long-term strategic development across the industry.
