Alex began his career at Nissan and in logistics more than 13 years ago, developing his expertise across various roles including Auto parts Exportation Analyst, Warehouse Supervisor, Budget Controller Manager, Purchasing, before joining the Finished Vehicles Logistics team. He is currently the Deputy Director, responsible for the supply chain management of vehicle delivers to final customers, including all domestic distribution operations in Mexico and vehicle export flows to more than 65 countries around the world. He develops and manages strong partnerships with Nissan’s commercial logistics partners, creating flexibility and efficiency across the network of distribution centres and amongst the carrier base including truck haulaways, rail, RORO Vessels and 3PLs. A key element of his is role is the development of High-Performance teams, challenging the status quo to build different solutions to evolve the current network, fulfill customer’s changing needs, and predict supply chain disruption.
