Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Maxim Serov manages the overall regional end-to-end supply chain in North America, responsible for material planning, freight and logistics, customs and trade, and supply chain operations including lean logistics and SCM information systems. He leads Benteler’s 400 strong supply chain organisation, responsible for a $80m+ annual spend, $150m inventory and manages over 450 suppliers.  

In 2024, Maxim Serov's role expanded to include supply chain responsibilities for startup HOLON - a legally independent entity and subsidiary of the Benteler Group, developing and manufacturing autonomous movers.
 
Maxim Serov has extensive experience in the automotive supply chain, and prior to moving to North America in 2018, he held international supply chain management roles with Benteler as well as with Robert Bosch and then-PSA. He has successfully overseen new project and new plant launches across Europe, holding positions in Russia, Poland and Germany. During his 4-year spell with Robert Bosch, he also obtained a PhD in Economics.
