Felipe Quijano is a public official who has held various positions in the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (now SICT), as well as in the Ministry of the Navy. He has served as Commercial Manager of the Federal Entity that manages the Port of Veracruz, known as the Administration of the National Port System of Veracruz.

Since 1997, he has worked in both public and private port companies, giving him a notable operational and commercial perspective. This has ensured his significant involvement in the reconfiguration and expansion of the Port of Veracruz, as well as in the development of preferential schemes for the finished automobile industry at the ports. He holds a law degree with a specialization in Foreign Trade and Customs.
