Ricardo Ortega Marquez is the Senior Manager of General Purchasing at Kia Mexico. He joined the company almost 10 years ago and is currently responsible for logistics, purchasing, customs, and free trade agreements (FTAs). 

His role includes overseeing the purchase of raw materials such as gasoline, brake oil, antifreeze, paint, and steel. On the logistics side, he manages all transportation modes including air, rail, ocean, and inland as well as operations at key ports, including Lázaro Cárdenas, Manzanillo, Altamira, and Laredo. 

He is also responsible for compliance programs and certifications relating to Customs and FTAs 

Ricardo has 15 years of experience in the supply chain sector. He holds a degree in industrial engineering and an MBA in logistics.
